I know not everyone is solid on Kiwi geography and I've heard from a few people, so: I'm fine, miles away. I lived in Christchurch for four years but I've been blessed with only good news (so far) from my loved ones down there and I'm so so grateful. But I'm thinking of them all and desperately worried. The damage is astoundingly bad for a city of Christchurch's size. It just seems so damn unfair.

I'm thinking of all of you right now, especially those of you in Christchurch.
