1. This is why heavy author participation in the fandom stifles creativity. It's not like I was even planning on writing a YW/Sherlock crossover or anything, but jfc, DD, ILU but BUTT OUT. Fandom is not for authors. Are you comfortable with NC-17 Dairine/Carmela porn? No? TOO BAD.

This has been bugging me for days and getting in the way of me being able to write my fest fic for

dai_stiho. Grr. Now I kind of want to have an "I don't actually want you to be comfortable with my fic, DD" fest. All porn, all the time. I'll finally write that Nita/Kit/Ronan fic. Or Nita/Dairine. OK no I won't write that. But still.

2. This is a really good post about Glee, being gay, and being gay on TV. TW: suicide.

3. Still horrendously behind on flists.

Yeeeah, when I saw DD's comments about potential YW/Sherlock crossovers, my reaction was basically, "I love you, DD, but the moment you set your stories loose upon the world we're going to do things to them, and that is ... not actually committing violence upon either your or any other universe." I didn't go so far as I thinking that it was time for the fest you mentioned, but that said, I would be totally down! I mean, probably not with the Nita/Dairine. But definitely with the Nita/Kit/Ronan. Possibly after Ronan gets sent on errantry in London and it turns out the local Area Seniors are John and Sherlock and MWAHAHAHA. AND THEN CROSSOVERS AND PORN although probably not crossover pairing porn. &c &c.

Yeah, exactly. It's hard to blame her for answering a question and I desperately wish that fan hadn't but it just point out to me again how difficult it actually is to keep anything from DD. In the firm knowledge that she's everywhere and will see your stuff and will have an opinion.

CROSSOVERS AND PORN FEST. Maybe when I am finally done writing this fest fic, which I feel bad about b/c my prompt is so cute and I have been so slack, I will run a crossovers and porn fest.

Well, at least she has a firm commitment to not reading your stuff!

(I think it's bizarre to opine that Sherlock and Young Wizards could not exist in the same universe -- to me part of the charm of Young Wizards is that they do exist in Sherlock's universe. )
