I don't really have anywhere to put these, so, well... *shrugs* Y'all can have them: I'm not using them at the moment. Five icons all based on a love theme, with text taken from Two Love Poems by Anne French, which I am about to post at [livejournal.com profile] nz_poetry, so you can see it there. :) Oh, except for one quote, which is from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. you can work out which one that is yourselves. :)

Please use these, but comment and credit if you do. :D Thanks!

Work out which one it is? "hand to hand is holy palmer's kiss"? SOOOOOO obvious ;) (That's one line I remember perfectly. It keeps randomly going into my head.)

*grins* Yes of course. Still, I thought the R+J screencap for one of them might have misled some...

tehe. I think so too. Just reading some of the comments in that nzpoetry community. Two things
1. I agree that most New Zealand poetry is hard-out contemporary (a lot of it to the point where it just becomes pretentious)
2. I TOTALLY agree about rhyming!!! (that's why I virtually never do it except for internal rhyme...) It takes a really talented writer not to make rhyming sound cheesy. I much prefer half-rhyme like Wilfred Owen used a lot (Yes we're doing his poems currently in Enlgish.. tehe)
