*waves* Hi all,

I am hideously, revoltingly, horribly sick. As such, I won't be at school today (Actually, Ally, if you see this in time could you give my apologies to Mrs Brown??) because, you know, ILLNESS. It's disgusting.

I want sympathy.

AHAHA! Oh, I'm sorry I missed that, I really am! Hah!

Yeah, I know a lot of people have objected to the small kids marching thing... someone wrote a letter to the paper saying that everyone has a right to teach their children what they see to be good moral values, which is very true, but...

.. I guess to me the difference is, moral values are one thing but moral values that invoke hatred, becuse that's what the march was doing, should not be imposed.

Uh huh. But then again it's harder to see that sort of thing when the cause is something that you support... I can;t see myself objecting to people taking small children to a protest that I agree with and I feel really horrible and hypocritical.

o.O it's amazing how similarly we think. because I had been thinking the same thing:
"What if I saw kids going along to an anit-Nuclear or anti-Vietnam protest? Would I think the same thing?"

in the end, though, I decided that there's a difference, and the differece is still hate; because the Destiny church is specifically against a very specific, very personal group, as opposed to a policy or an action.

Also, there's a big difference in tone. Black shirts vs flower power?

That's true. And I do get really upset when I see people being hateful and militant, even when I do agree with their politics. It makes me feel ashamed of my beliefs :(
