So, I think I finally have it. Woo. Anyway, the whole point of this exercise is... Christmas list! I'm sure you do it too: every year, when someone asks you what you want for christmas, your faces goes totally blank and you can't think of anything- but ten minutes later, you remember something you'd absolutely kill for. Right? So... the solution! This way, when someone asks me what I want, I can refer them here. Hoorah! It's at the top because, well, that way I don't have to go looking for it, and so forth. PLUS, when I see stuff I want, I can come back and EDIT IT ON. OMG I am a genius. ;)

So without further ado: EVERYTHING I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS.

1. A good mascara and eyeliner. Especially mascara.
2. A good warm stylish winter jacket.
3. Going Postal by Terry Pratchett
4. Chocolate!
5. A good Beethoven CD. With the Fifth. Mm.
6. A viola!?
7. Newford books by Charles de Lint.
8. Clothing. Especially a good new pair of blue jeans. And warm stuff.
9. Poetry by Jenny Bornhaldt.
10. Actually, any poetry.
11. A good book to write poetry in.
12. One of the Discworld books I don't have. Men at Arms would be good.
13. Because you have to ask the impossible once or twice: A copy of any of the YW books I don't already own. (I own SYWTBAW, DW, Alone and Holiday.) HW would be good.
14. A complete Shakespeare, OR a book of the Sonnets.

7. Newford books by Charles de Lint.

I <3 Charles de Lint. I'd never even heard of him till I stumbled across Waifs and Strays earlier this year.

*nodnodnods* He's great, isn't he? I heard of him when he published The Onion Girl a year or so ago- it got good reviews here- but never got round to reading it until I was in Washington and founf moonlight and Vines and The Ivory and the Horn earlier this year... I'm really loving the Newford short stories at the moment.
