Wishlist meme

labellementeuse*yawns* Been kinda eerie of doing this meme, because in some ways it's basically like sticking out your hand and going "OMG GIVE ME SOMETHING!11!!" But then it's also not, and I'm bored, and what the hey.
Plus if I do this carefully and think of some good stuff and remember it, I can print it off and give it to my mother.
Meme Guidelines
Step One
Make a post containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The post can be public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with.
The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and online-related ("I'd love a specific icon/fic that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list.
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

2. A favour.
3. One of those cool mugs from www.youngwizards.com. Chocolate FIRST, peoples. :D
4. A job. Actually before christmas would be good. ;)
5. Icon. Yes everyone asks for them but I don't care. :)
6. A copy of Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell
7. Paid LJ Time. I asked my brother for this already. He told me I was "disgusting," but then he says that a lot... ;)
8. That Finn Brothers CD!
9. Photos of my family and friends and Welington... 'cause I'm going away. :(
10. Christmas cards. I love christmas cards, which is why it sucks so much I never send them. Or a letter. Or something I can stick on my wall in CHCH. Or something I can read. or a poem. Or a story. Something on paper.
In less materialistic news, I filled out SO MANY FREAKING APPLICATION FORMS today. Don't people take CVs any more, or something??? And I got roped into working this Saturday. >.< Which is Rose's birthday, so...![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Um. That is all. You can now poke my eyes out for my horrible joke that is the first paragraph and my splash of reality that is my second paragraph and this superfluously lame paragraph at the end, here.

No, see, that's why I don't send them either, i'm unreliable. Don't want to say I'll send them and then not. Usually I do an email and make a website somewhere, because at least that way I don't have to pay postage- tragic eh?
