Dec. 21st, 2004 05:48 pmI've been Christmas shopping.
I forgot how much I love Christmas shopping, actually- only remembered just now. It's funny, it's this really Zen state you enter where you're wandering through town- the best thing to do is to work out, beforehand, at least one present, preferably one you're going to have to go to several locations to complete (I usually have a couple like this.) So you make a list of names, then you go after this present running the names over in your head. And what you get- seriously- is you get moments of epiphany. I do, anyway. I had a really good one today, I think. :D Find out this Thursday, but I think it's a pretty good one... :) So that's why I lvoe it, because for these moments you jsut feel SO good, because you know you're getting something that someone's gonna love. Beats making a list, too, because it always ends up way more personal.
I do like shopping. :D
Byt the way, guess who came into the shop today and said "I kenw you worked here, I've been reading your journal?"
Guess.
Everyone's favouritestalker conservative Wellington College boy.
That's right.
It was STEVE. *shakes*
I dunno. I was actually a little bit uncomfortable with that- not him reading it (although I can think of people I'd prefer to have reading my journal) but the idea of this guy, who I don't dislike but don't know very well and who has, let's face it, been a real bastard to people close to me, reading my journal and never commenting once. It's... disturbing.
Anyway, he said I should read his, but he didn't give me an address- he shouted out what sounded like "teenage blunder dot blogspot dot com." I THINK that was it. But I tried all those variants and found nothing so, Steve, if you're reading this, be a darling and tell us your addy, will you?>
