I got a text from my brother Rewi this morning.

It says "Hey Tui this is Rewi i got a cellphone but you're not to tell mum or dad okay? I let Hedley and Freya use it. Hedley uses it to text his girlfriends but all freya wants to do is take it 2 school so she can look cool! When are you coming back up to Wellington?"

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I may soon have to go into mourning for the premature death of my brother: Killed by parents because he's too dumb to live.

I love him, and I've been missing him (which was why it was really cool to get a text, actually) and that's also why I DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE. Man.

Ahahahaha. I can read strikethrough no probs. It comes from knowing a bunch of cheeky people who strike out every second sentence or so. :P *glances in [livejournal.com profile] opiumcoffeebean's direction*

My TV fandom is The O.C., cause, Seth/Ryan yesyum. And I spoil myself constantly for that, but...I don't know. Lost is just *different* for me. And I reeeeeally wish I could watch House on Channel 3 cause I love Hugh Laurie and it sounds really good, but...can't miss Lost!

So you're a Kate-hater? Man, I think I'm the only person who doesn't hate Kate. I'm going to, though, when she chooses Jack, because of course it'll come down to her and Jack. It's like Buffy and Angel, even though Angel hadn't even been properly in the picture for YEARS (and by years I mean like three seasons), but noooo, Spike has to -- wait, do you watch Buffy? I'll shut up now, but it really annoyed me, and I'm betting the lack of Sawyer getting the girl here will piss me off too.

I keep reading the TV Guide when we get it at work, to see whose story is next :P I think it's Sayid's next week, and then Claire? And who do you think hit Sayid? I'm pretty sure I know, but then again, I have been wrong before...once... :P

I totally want to watch House... Isn't it on on Friday night though?

Have you caught Doc Martin? Sunday 8.30, just before Billy Connolly in NZ.

It's Martin Clune as a very non-people person doctor who's moved back to rural England. I quite like it.

Plus, [livejournal.com profile] labellementeuse, last week it had Stephanie Leonidas on it and she stars in MirrorMask.

She's young.

As to who got Sayid? I have squecky feeling it was Locke who has such a major thing to lose and quickly diverted the blame. Which is wierd because I still like him the most.

*shrug* I don't know, I suck at things like that- & unfortunately Sunday *-30 I'm usually watching CSI... :( Although I should catch up with Billy Connelly, and find out if or when he's doing Wellington, so I can go squee. :D

MirrorMask, is that ever getting showed or released here or what?????

Oh, yeah, who hit Sayid... I, er, well, because of this tiny spoiler that I got I don't think it's anyone who we know. I mean, I don't know for sure, of course, just a guess, because I know that directors and authors ALWAYS make you go nuts about who it was and then in the end it's someone who had 15 seconds or sentences of screentime at the very beginning of the movie or book, or none at all. :P

Yeah, Billy's been through Wellington already...

He did Stewart Island, Lower South, Upper South, Wellington, Palmy last week and he's moving up the North Island now. I think he'll spend more time around Auckland just because he did more shows there.

MirrorMask appears to be headed for a more general theatrical release in the states, but I'd not expect it to hit screens here unless we're lucky. But DVD will get here, at least via small hobby stores which get all the cool cultish DVD's.

Well that is true. And it lets Locke of the hook, which I like. Guess I'll just have to wait. (Discworld is the only thing I really like spoilers for...)

Oh, blast. *shrug* Oh well, I don't suppose I care that much... :P

Hmm, okay, thanks for the info. And yeah, that's a good thing about my theory- we don't have to blame Locke (or, you know, whoever else was not there. Which is, um, I don't know. Korean guy! Or Fat Old Black Lady, you know, the one whose husnad was in the tail of the plane... or did she die in the end... I don't know...)

asghhjkl; I also lose at Livejournal.

Hmm, see, with The OC I didn't watch the first season, and then I tried to get into it this season, but... it just didn't strike me much. Also, it's not on Wednesday, which is my official Watch Lots and Lots of Television night. :P Yeah, I wanted to see House too, it's been rec'd to me by someone whose judgement I trust, but... :-/

No! I don't hate Kate! In fact I kind of like her. I just hate that the director is keeping us in suspense over Whatever The Fuck It Is Kate Did, because, you know, rragh. ;D

As for Buffy, I'm afraid I'm not an initiate of the cult, no. But I do plan to watch the series on DVD eventually, because all sorts of clever people seem to love it a lot. ;) Plus Amalgamated Video at home has all the series', I think.

Ahahah I used to do that too, secretly. And read the plotlines of Coronation Street, and everthing. *sneaky* Yeah, it's definately Sayid's this week... I hope you're right about Claire next week, that would be awesome.

Hey, look, see, those are spoilers... just minor ones, right, that's the sort we like for LOST. We want all the anticipation and speculation but not to be really spoiled. :D

Do you know what I lose at? DO YOU?!?!

I lose at not looking up spoilers. I lose BADLY. One might say that I completely LOST. (HA.)

But, really, I spent last night reading detailed recaps of each episode to come. *shame* It was terrible! I didn't mean to do it, but they came up when I Googled Josh Holloway, and one thing led to another...please don't leave me!

HA PUN.

Oh, Tania! How could you!

*laughing* That is terrible.. but don't worry, we've all done it, with one thing if not with the other. (for me it was The Tribe... I never got back into it either, I'm sad to say. ;))

Hmm, and now you know who wiped out Sayid.. tell me, am I heading in the right direction??

From: [identity profile] tanizard.livejournal.com
Huh, I think I totally missed who did that, but I reckon you're right, since the other spoilers didn't mention anything about any of the 14 main characters being outcast.

Oh man, you have no idea how badly I want to spoil you.

And speaking of bad puns? At work, yesterday, I ask Greg if I could borrow his charger, so he got his phone charger out of his bag, and I said "No, I meant your CD charger" and he said "Oh, I thought you meant my phone charger", and I said "Looks like we got our wires crossed" and then started howling with laughter. (I was pretty tired, in my defense :D)

Actually, I was just talking to an American friend and apparently they don't know either. God. It's going to be another of those Mystery things.

DON'T Spoil me! please!!! *weeps* I know that, um, someone called Danielle exists (I don't want to spoil anyone else, so...) and something about her, but that's it..

*laughing* OMG.. I LOVE bad puns, they're like my dirty little secret. :P
