The reason, should anyone be curious, for my prolonged absence from LJ and MSN is that the internet connection at home is so unutterably crap that I can barely check my emails. Please assume that I am not reading your journal and comment somewhere to tell me if you do anything fabulous? Thanks. :) This is also the reason I haven't really been hitting the LJ comments as hard as I should so.. :( sorry gang, I still love you and it'll all be over in... two months?

In the weekend I went to shoeless_girl's going-away party and met her and manic_subbie, as well as amarynth and dryadwoman (whom- who?- I have just friended, so, um, hi guys! :D) and they were all absolutely LOVELY and beautiful and friendly and I had a great time. XD Although no-one could say my user name, which may be a sign that should I ever change it, I should definitely go for something in English. Um. Anyway, I drank a bit and sang under my breath ;) and chatted with tonnes of people, and come to the conclusion that Sarah's friends are awesome, as are she and Hayley, who I was pretty nervous about meeting :P.

Also in LJ-related news, I got Christmas cards from deutscheami and lady_larla! Which makes me start to wonder: have mine arrived yet? (I, uh, haven't sent the NZ ones yet. Doing it tomorrow. :P)

Nothing really going on in my life. Studying for exams (suck). Finishing college applications (suck). Almost Christmas break (yay!).

My friends and I have daily bitching sessions to get it out of our systems. :D And it helps that everyone's going through the same thing at the same time.

Also, hey! Your card just came. Thank you so very much for all the sentiments expressed within. (My mom's reaction to the postmark was pretty awesome too XD.)

I can send you one too if you don't mind in arriving in like, February.
